Protests quickly sparked in hundreds of cities following what is being called the “California Supreme Court’s Illogical Prop 8 Decision‎” that upheld a ban on gay marriage in the Sunshine State. Even “The Governator” Schwarzenegger hit up Twitter to proclaim “I believe one day CA will recognize gay marriage” (although he’s upholding the ban). Across the continent here in NY, a new poll shows New Yorkers want same-sex marriage brought to a vote and some politicians insist gay weddings would even help the economy as queers flock to here to exchange vows.
